We would like to sincerely welcome Tamarac Education Centre (TEC) students, parents, guardians, staff and community partners to the 2023-2024 school year.
Being part of TEC means being part of an amazing learning community. Tamarac Education Centre currently serves approximately 550 students and offers both French Immersion and English programming. TEC serves students from pre-primary to Grade 8 and provides a variety of student services support.
As a school, one of our main objectives is to teach our children to be hardworking, co-operative, and courteous members of our community. At TEC, teachers focus on ensuring each student reaches their maximum potential in a culturally responsive environment. We work to foster confident students with strong academic and social skills.
In order to achieve success at school, it is important to work closely with home. We encourage parents and guardians to communicate openly with the school. We have an active School Advisory Council (SAC) that meet once per month. TEC will continue to promote extra-curricular activities at school in the form of sports, drama, band/music, dance, to name a few. We welcome parent and guardian involvement in any extra-curricular activities; your time is always appreciated.
TEC encourages you to believe in yourself, perceive the lessons around you, receive knowledge with joy, and you will achieve anything to which you set your mind.
